Watch the sunrise at Tiger Hill, visit a tea estate, explore the Mahakal Temple, and meet Tibetans at a Refugee Camp. After, visit the Peace Pagoda. Enjoy a cooking demonstration at a local, family-run restaurant.

Please note that occasionally the cooking demonstration may be moved to Varanasi to better suit the day’s schedule.

Refugee Camp Visit

The Tibetan refugee camps here were established by Tibetans who fled in 1959. Many Tibetans followed the Dalai Lama and migrated to India where they were given refugee spaces and status in the country.
